- Check whether the electrolyte or pure water meets the specified requirements.
- Open the exhaust plug on the battery.
- Add liquid or replenish water to the highest liquid level.
(2) Charging connection
- The positive pole of the charger is connected to the positive pole of the battery, and the negative pole is connected to the negative pole of the battery. Do not reverse the connection.
- Charging multiple batteries can be determined according to the power of the charger.

(3) Charging method
There are usually three types of charging: constant current charging, constant voltage charging and fast charging.
A. Constant current charging, including: initial charging, supplementary charging, normal charging and equalizing charging.
Initial charge: The initial charge is the first charge before the non-dry charge battery is used.
- After injecting the electrolyte into the non-dry charged battery, let it rest for 1 to 6 hours, and start charging when the temperature drops below 35°C.
- The initial charging current is generally 0.07C30A. When charging to a single cell voltage of 2.4V, half the current and continue charging
Supplementary charging: For the dry-charged battery with long storage time and poor dry charging performance or the battery that has been out of service for about a month after being fully charged with acid, the supplementary charging current is 0.1C30A, and the supplementary charging time is 5 hours Or so, or determine the charging time according to the storage time.
Normal charging:
Ordinary charging refers to the charging after the battery is used after the initial charge.
- For example: 0.1C20A is used for the first stage of ordinary charging of a car battery, charging for 8 to 12 hours until the voltage rises above 2.4 volts/cell, and then charging for about 10 hours after the current is halved.
- The charging power is generally more than 1.5 times of the discharging capacity, or 1.3 to 1.5 times of the rated capacity.
Balanced charging
a﹑Use ordinary charging method to fully charge the battery, and then charge it with 0.035C20A current.
- When the battery emits uniform bubbles and the temperature rises, stop charging for 1 hour, and repeat this for 3 to 4 times
- A large number of bubbles can be generated in a single cell battery, and the current, voltage, and electrolyte density tend to be constant.
B． Constant voltage charging
Constant voltage charging is to charge the battery with a constant voltage all the time. At the beginning, the charging current is large, and then gradually decreases. The constant voltage charging voltage is usually 2.3-2.4 volts. In this charging situation, there is little gas generation and low water consumption. Therefore, constant voltage charging is often used for maintenance-free sealed lead-acid batteries. .
C． fast charging
- Fast charging is an intermittent charging method that uses high current, pulse charging, and short-time discharge to charge the battery.
- The fast charging method is charged with a high current of 1 to 2 times C20A.
- Fast charging is completed with a special fast charging machine.
